Checked the FAQ's and did a search but couldn't find any specifics on clutching my attak for the mountains. I assume I need to change the primary weights, but to what and how? Also since I'm on the topic, I got rid of that garbage ripsaw track and put on an 1.5 freeride. Any clutching necessary for the anticipated improvement in loose snow traction?

your Yamaha dealer will have those specs in his service manuel.....It might also be in your owners manuel...not sure about that one.

I rode in Grand Lake, Co last year and went up to altitudes above 10 grand. I took out the stock weights and put in weights for that specific altitude. If I remember correctly, they didn't have any added weight in them. I bought extra so I could simply change from mountains back to flatlander status. I did not change the primary spring or gearing. Simple!
The sled ran find with just the primary weight change.

More help please. I've done everything with this sled except clutching. I know nothing. Primary weights? Rivets? huh?
