06 Polaris

Sorry dont care Im glad they got problems its a dog.

Polaris=You build it, we put bold new graphics on it and call it our own.

It is just the Polaris-guys that is not familiar to engine-braking. I like that Polaris put the exhaust outlet in the normal position, not in the rear, since you can have a normal rack on the back. This is the biggest miss Yamaha made when they constructed my Venture TF, no REAL rack. Hopefully Yamaha will correct this in 07 and use the same exhaust as the new Viking, exiting into the tunnel!
Would still not buy a Polaris though.... ;)!

Is that Lynx a 4 stroke ? I heard Doo has some sort of 4 stroke in the works. Is this it ?

No, that is just the "MXZ X"-Lynx. The only 4-strokes they have is in their workhorse, the YETI (widetrack). They have 2 "new" motors next year, a V800 (65 hp) and a V1300 (102 hp). No more V1000. Not too exiting... :D

Wow dump some gas on that and light a match wow, I thought the Freestyle was ugly DAMN!

Speaken of warm Ive never had a 4 stroke before but with the pipes, under rear storage, anything in there should be kinda hot rite not covered in snow im guessen?

there shouldnt be any heat problems...if ur talkin bout the 06's...otherwise the 05's there wasnt any storage. if u've looked at the 06's the tunnel is not closed where the exhaust is. so its exposed to all the snow from the track to cool the exhaust pipes down. on my 05 rage, there is only a little window, about an 8x8 near teh rear, but the 06's have no aluminum covering the exhaust up from the snow thrown up by the track.
