I hate to say it, but your wife is right. When you aren't really looking, the right deal will come your way.

The two best deals I have closed were when I made my offer and told them that was all I would do and left my number. In each case I got a call six weeks later. No hassle, no dickering.

So I found an 07 attak gt. 8100 on the odometer, looks like its in good shape, two owner sled. has it listed for 3250 but i'm sure theres a little wiggle room, thinking 2750 is a decent starting price, going to go look at it saturday..... it's 10 minutes from my house......... heres a link https://www.facebook.com/marketplac...ghtspeed_banner&referralCode=messenger_banner

Look VERY closely at the front skid arm, or "W" arm.
They are prone to cracking if ridden hard(abused), or ridden by a very heavy rider.

Along with the W-arm, I would also check the suspension rails as they were also know to crack. So much so, Travis of Barn of Parts offers rail savers for the Mono but also has some images of cracked rails on his site to familiarize yourself.

So going to close this thread out...... Decided against the 8100 mile attak that was 10 minutes from my house. I found a one owner 07 Attak GT in the Detoilet area with 3300 miles, the sled is immaculate inside and out, paid 3k for it , it took a 500 mile round trip but it was worth it...... Now to pray to the snow gods Thanks for all the replies

Nice looking sled. They are a bit of a pig in the tight twisties, but in a straight line or on a lake, they go.
