I have an 06 rs venture & am trying to improve how it handles in turns; It has always pushed quite a bit at increased speeds. I'm still useing the stock skis. Last year I installed a set of shaper bars on the skis and it seems to bite better now but turns harder now than before with a standard runners. I'm thinking about shimming the rear of the ski at the rubber stopper but not sure how thick the shim should be and if it would even help. Any thoughts / experience suggestions appreciated.
Thanks,
Don

1/4 inch shim 1.5 inchs long , 3/4 -1 inch wide drill a hole and silacone and screw into the heel of the rear rubber I used alum. some use a piece of a old drive belt just need to shave it down to 1/4 inch , can also use teflon. your rear of your ski is 3/16's high with the shim your from will be tipped up 0.060th more bite on the carbide and the skis will not be digging into thr ruts..

Think shimming the skis will help on an 08 Venture Lite?
