My dads 07 attak GT keeps throwing code 20 every time you want to start it up cold. Some times it'll start and run when the code is on, but some times it won't even start. If you bring it into the garage for 10 min it goes off and it'll be fine till the next time you park it out side for a while, then when you want to start it again, it'll be back. I know code 20 is for the altitude compensator or something like that. We have the service manual for it, so I was able to find out what the code means. I'm thinking it must be that the breather hose has water in it , and when you park it out side, the water freezes, and it throws the code. Any other thoughts? Any body know where to look for the hose that might be plugging? So we can reroute it? Any other thoughts on how to fix this?

Thanks.

Code 20 is defective values for atmospheric pressure are detected. When this code is present, the system ignores actual atmospheric pressure & tells itself the atmospheric pressure is a static 85kPa in order to allow the sled to continue to run.
Sounds like a bad sensor or more likely a bad connection. I think (but may be wrong) the atmospheric pressure sensor is the one on the left side of the air intake box. Disconnect the sensor, check the pins, clean if necessary & re-seat the connector connections. Trace the wire harnes to confirm it's not pinched & is properly strain relieved.
