Change it! If you don't you will think about every time you look down at your odometer!

Do it before its too late!, blew mine at around 9500 -10000kms, just as predicted. Covered under warranty, otherwise easily go with microbelmont.
Thanks for the replies guys! Yea, sure sounds like I should change it, not a job I want to be doing this winter, especially sice I leave it up at a buds cabin three hours away, and towing it with a broken shaft is tough.
Now the decision I have is whether to change the original track that's getting old and do extrovert drivers too. Decisions, decisions. Need to do a closer inspection of the track.

I'm at 4,100 miles, but I'm pulling the skid out to put the beef up kit in. What do you guys think, change it while its apart or am I wasting whats left of the original?

at 4100 your alright.... unless you want too, sell it for half price and recoup some $$$... i bought a used shaft with less than 1000 mile on it for 120bucks..

If you ride just trails, and dont want to replace this season I would loosen your track up. I was fine last year until I replace a wheel and tightened it up to spec..... 50 miles and it broke ( sled had 5k on it )
