I set the rear springs to "sit in". Was not much differeance between S,M, H though. I have heard people say "just go to the next setting, H" I know that is not going to help. I have adjusted t-rods as well. It just seems to blow through the travel on big bumps, dips or if I want to pop the sled over a bump, it will bottom hard upon landing. None of my past sd's have done this. Just a frustrating problem on my first new Yamaha.
As far as what I have read the anti bottomers were not on the nytros and have heard the shocks were not designed for them. This resulted in some not so good kickback.
Geezer2, Do you have any experience with Hygear? What have you done with your skid? How do you ride and what is your weight?
A typical situation happened over the weekend with a person who had a 06 nytro: "No, I never bottom, the sled is really stiff. " I decided to follow this person for many miles, Well that person should have been on a vector gt, not a nytro. Second time I have had an experience like this. When ridden hard the sled bottoms to easy, especially for a sled that is marketed the way it was.
