07 Rage GT Starter

Hey everyone,

It’s looking like I’m going to have to replace the starter on this sled. Starter will spin but no crank. It also sounds like I will have to rip apart a bunch of the machine to do the job. Does anyone know a good site for getting Yamaha parts?

Any tips or suggestions on changing out the starter in this machine would be greatly appreciated.

If you do a search in the RS specific forum you’ll find lots of info and tips on replacing a starter on the three holer. It’s not a difficult job, but will be a bit time consuming. Good luck.
