2007 Rage: Does it have running lights & brake lights? I am not sure if my brake light is stuck on, or if it doesn't work? Is there supposed to be a warning sound (beeper) when the reverse lever is engaged? Is there supposed to be a warning light when the parking lever is engaged? Does it have an overheat warning or hot engine kill circuit?

I can answer a few of those questions yes headlight and taillights are always on. When you put it in reverse there is a beeper that sounds (maybe disconnected on yours) When the engine gets hot a dummy light on the dash will turn on. Look at all fuses make sure those are all good

A red light comes on until it warms up....... Do not drive away until it goes out.... No warning when you put the parking brake on. If the red warning light comes on for the temp., you have a few minutes to ride until it gets hot enough to shut it's self down............ MM.

wife rolled her 07 Rage, then had brake light switch problems, If you unplug connection under handle bar pad. touch two prongs together with screw driver, brake light should come on. I agree its hard to tell if on or not, bright! I bought new switch instead of screwing with old one. only 20 bucks... very easy to change. good luck
