I will try my best, like you have pointed out I'm new here and my greenness is showing threw. And your comments about my dealer are spot on, I think the only reason that he hasn't been put out of business is all about loop holes.
Yamaha won't allow there to be 2 Yamaha dealerships in close proximity to each other unless there is a large enough population for both to be able to cope. I guess its like any business that sells it's name for others to use. And in the case where I live there isn't a big enough population to warrent 2 dealerships, and the reason it is so far for the next dealership is because that is the next town. Living in a remote area has its bonuses, but this is clearly not one of them. We actually went a number of years without a Polaris dealer at all.
