Anybody have trouble with a miss or sputter at about 30mph 50kph. If i hold the throttle steady at these speeds it seems like the engine is missing. I can feel a slight jerk or hesitation as well. At first i thought it might be a bad belt but it seems ok. No codes are up. There is some moisture in the air box which I have cleaned out. 3000km all updates are done that i am aware of. Acceleration and idle is good.

What about moisture or something wrong with one of your coils? Had a truck with the same symptoms. and one of the coils was bad. Just a thought. Moisture is always a troublemaker, and it usually affects the wierdest, yet simplest parts.

I allways run stable in my fuel to deal with water problems. keep my air box and filter screen wiped clean . i find at a slower pace in wooded trails between 15 -30 mph. pickup is snappy all the to the top end (75ish)but at a lower steady speed it sputters enough that you notice it . i always shrugged it of thinking no way this is happening to a new sled or its just the rutted trail making you think that way.but i have been around sleds enough to know if its working right.and i think it shouldn"t act like that.my dealer will soon know. i was looking on this forum to see if anyone else was having this problem. i remember seeing a video on youtube about a guy having this problem but a little worst than i am having. i hope sombody has a quick fix. thanks for any info. you guys really know your stuff. 20/80

Yay I need a shiny new STATER. I am not positive if that caused the missing but apperantly it will cause the lack of charging. The dealer has a special on labour and I get my updated ground block harness(?) oh and clutched and geard for sea level instead of mountains(which should have been done when i bought it because i am riding in the prairies)
I wonder if a bad grounding block leads to a bad stator?

Wiring regarding a good ground is critical. SAME issue on my sled a while ago AND on my Truck. I thought it was bad gas. Same simptoms on both vehicles. The bad ground in my truck caused the alternator to prematurly fail, causing a stutter (Basically like I turned the key off for a split second). Same with the sled. Found a wire rubbed out. Just a small small piece of wire showing and it was enough to cause the intermident studdering.
Other thing I noticed on both vehicles was the headlights. They would eversoslightly go dimmer/brighter once and a blue moon.
Took the sled and truck outside at night, idled it while wiggling area's of the wiring harness. Watched for the lights to dim and Voala....found it!!
