08 nytro rtx - oil change?

just finished changing the oil and filter in my sled. took just over 4 quarts to get oil to the high low mark. no oil leaks anywhere. is this correct?

question 2, i am using amsoil 0w40 last year i used amsoil 0w30. i only had 4 quarts of 0w40 so i filled to the mark with 0w30 will this be ok or should i just start over again?
