So has anyone used this or heard of someone using it, apparently Arctic Cat reformulated their oil for the Yamaha triple. It is a 0w40 full synthethic and comes with oil, filter, washers and funnel and retails for $57.99 here in Canada compared to $76 for the Nytro oil change kit from Yamaha that uses 0w30 semi synthetic, and if you want to go full synthetic it is $14.99 a liter!
So what are everyone's thoughts on this?

I like that first # to be 0 just for the cold start.

I don't see a 10W40 kit on their web page

Sorry that was a typo, it's 0W40 full synthetic.

I asked this same question on here a couple of months ago. I paid over $80 with tax for my full synthetic yamalube oil change kit. Later I saw the AC 7000 kit for $57 like you said.
The yammie kit came with 4 litres however, so next year I'll just buy 2 litres of oil and a filter. Only took 3 litres for the change.

I don't see a viscosity listed on the 7000 kit but I don't think Cat likes to pay out any more on warranty claims than Yamaha does. Should work just fine.

This link has some nice pics and it seems to use a Yamaha filter.

Yes it does have a Yamaha filter in the AC kit. I chuckled when I saw that at the dealer.

You can also go to an auto parts store and buy a fram or K&N filter and some Mobil 1 if you don' want to buy a kit from the dealer.

For what it costs, and only changing oil/filter once a year I stick with Yamaha products.
