Im looking at selling my sled but im not sure what its worth.

Its an 08 nytro rtx with fox floats.
Full Hindle and hurricane airbox with pc5
machined heads.
D&F clutch kit.
Less thans 3000 miles
Still has a year and a half warranty Y.E.S

I wanna sell it to get a used xtx or leftover and turbo it or wait till 2013 to see what they come out with. Love the sled just want more power.

Any ideas on a price? Would $8200 be too much?

Thanks

Sad to say the 08's don't have the best resale from what I see. All becasue they got a bad wrap on their handeling IMO. There are about 6 of them for sale on ebay all starting at or asking $5200-$8500 and the $8500 sled only has 500 miles on it. Sometimes with these you end up almost parting out all of th eaftermarket goodies then selling them stock if possible. Just an FYI... Stinks IMO

IF you want to part out the goodies I would be interested in the PC5 and the headers.

I figured the value would drop quick. I'll have to go to a dealer and see what they say for a price, then I'll figure out my mods.

lately dealers around me have been offering good money for used sleds. They offered my dad 5600 for his 07 attak with 7000 miles on it. I was shocked. dont know if it would be the same by you.

Seems high to me. I recently put my 09 with upgrades for sale on Kijiji for $7500...and not a single reply.

I think once the trails open, I may get some interest. If not, I'll just keep riding it.

I'm thinking 2 more years before I start looking at new stuff again.
Waiting to see if Yamaha will up the game or not.
AC has turned up the heat on 4-strokes. Doo and Yamaha guys who love the turn key power are jumping ship. What will they do to stop the converts?

Well that's what I'm kinda hoping for, something with more power. Either way I'm gonna stick with Yamaha, but definately with a turbo. My setup now pulls good but there's always that " what if I had more" that keeps going through my head lol

In the end, what's better? For your piece of mind and pocket book.
A fully sorted Nytro turbo added, rail extentions etc.
Or a brand new $$ product that needs a couple more years of tweaking.
It's a road all of us have been down a few times.
I'm still tweaking my nytro 4 years in a row.

There ya go. I love the nytro. It's a fun sled to ride. If I were to get another one it would be a nytro but longer. I don't like the xtx for the tip up, it's a good Idea but on a hard surface I'm back to a 121. Is the 153 mtx a tip up? If not I'd like that.

After my XTX was owned.
I budget around $2000 to $2500 each year for mods, parts, failures etc.
This year I'm going to try a clutch experiment. (not yet but soon)
The reason I bought a 50,000k motor was to keep it for many years.
