Anybody have issues with there Vector (or similar) not starting while its warm? On a cold start, it starts right up. After we ride a couple of hours, then it sits for 15-20 minutes, it will not start unless you squeeze the throttle halfway. It started late last season and my buddy took it in. I'm 'almost' sure they didnt even pull it off the trailer. And my buddy, let it sit all summer and did nothing about it until December . A different dealer had it and they replaced the plugs and re-synced the carbs. It ran decent at the beginning of the trip, but as the weekend progressed, it got worse. This past weekend, it was terrible. Once it fired up, a plume of gas vapor came out of the exhaust. The sled has about 1000 miles now. I called the dealer and it is going back over today. Any thoughts? I'm usually on the phazer forum and don't know a ton about the Vector and its motor. Thanks

Make sure you arent choking it, you didnt specify, but when I go in somwhere even for an hour or so, I dont need the choke.
If infact you arent using the choke and still having this problem, well them I am not sure.... I had 06 with 8500 mi, and now an 09 with 400 mi on it, and never had that problem once.

I should have clarified. The only time the choke is on is when it has sat overnight. This last weekend (temps in the 30's), no choke was required but still didnt want to start. We talked to some fellow Yammi riders that have never had this issue. It also sounds 'flat' when you hit the gas...not the nice crisp dual exhaust sound.

Be sure your choke cable is releasing fully. You may be running partially choked.

Just an update...but no definate answers. Talked to the dealer and he said the following:
* carbs were pulled and checked. 1 had some 'buildup' but nothing serious.
* Fuel pump is getting pulled today and checked out.

Talked to the dealer again. It seems like the sled is flooding itself out and they can't figure out why. Any ideas or suggestions?
