08 Vector LTX gearing??

Anybody know the stock gearing specs of the LTX? I hear that the apex's are geared to high from the factory and was wondering if Yamaha has done the same to the Vector's. Also does anybody know the difference in gearing between the apex/apex ltx, vector/vector ltx?

Vectors are geared to high as well. I assume there's no gearing change between the 05-07 style Vectors vs the 08's.

Stock top gear on my 05 was a 22 tooth which I changed out to a 21 tooth (forget what the bottom is). Changing this will raise your rpms though so some clutch work would need to be done to get you back where you want to be at top end (8600 rpm).

Definately worth the small effort of changing it out.

My LTX GT has 22/39 gearing as standard. (103mph @ 8500rpm)

The short Vector's should have 22/38, at least that's what my owner-manual states.
