08 Vector Oil filter part #

Does anyone know the oil filter part # for an 08 Vector. I'm seeing if I can cross reference it with other oil filters. That way I don't have to drive 30 min. to the Yamaha dealer.

The absolute ONLY aftermarket I have found that cross over are...

K&N # KN147

Hi Flo # HF147

All others are too tall. They will fit on the Apex where there is much more room, but WILL NOT fit the Deltabox II Vectors. Don't even try.

I did use the Hi Flo on my last oil change, but still had to go to my local Polaris dealer for it. It was $8.95

So my advise.... lube up your bunger & let Mr. Yamaha dealer take good care of you.

Got the Hi-Flo at a Cat dealer.

Could the dealer ship one to you? Surely would be under 10 bucks..cheaper than the gas to drive....
