Just started the sled and have a yellow triangle warning light on steady wut is this and wut could it be on for?
thanks

warning light

The warm up light is red. The yellow one is a check engine light. It could be various different things. I had it come on when i had my throttle cable routed wrong and when i would turn hard right it would pull on the cable and start reving then the tors kicks in and sets off the check engine light. Might also be a sensor.

Yellow. Red. What's the diff.....lol

Haha, you'd be waiting a long time for the yellow light to go out... well until it runs out of gas or overheats! Nah, no difference, bahaha!

When the yellow is on there will also be an icon on the gauge describing the problem. Fuel, oil level, high temp, or engine (self-diagnosis).

yellow light

my first time today..it was yellow triangle with oil can!
checked the level and showed low!
just had change 1000km ago...had to add 250ml or 8oz!
hope it isn't serious..rode 300+ after this and no issues..wondering if they eat oil...doesn't sound right..

i herd that if the sled was not broken properly that then can burn oil i dont no if that is ur case though

Do the nytros have the same set up as the phazers do for oil? As in if the sled is tipped does oil leak out the oil tank breather tube? If so if you had rolled over the sled or had it at an angle greater than 60 degrees i think it is you might have lost oil that way.

did you put it on it's side in those 1000Kms? Is it possible you screwed the stick in the first time you checked before the 1000Kms?

oil low

The dealer did the change last Spring before I put it away.
I should have checked the level..maybe they were very tight?
Sled has had 6500 trouble free kms..just worrying I had to top it off.
I will do another change and see if it happens..just curious if anyone else has ever had to add?

Just because the dealer did it doesn't mean it was correct. I brought mine in for it's 500 mile change and inspection, 4 miles into the next ride the idiot lights were going off and I had oil running out the belly pan. They had overfilled it by I'd guess the half qt or so that should be left after a proper oil change, it puked the excess out the breather into the airbox. Just keep an eye on it I'd bet it's fine just be sure to not overfill it. I damn near had a heart attack!!!!!!!
