just wanted to say i raced the 09 xtx nytro (600miles) at an nssr (?) sanctioned event, 114picks, suspension was H setting and transfer-rods were at about half,..... other than that trail stock everywhere else, have a bender stg1 kit on it and some cool stickers. 2000FT track MIMT conditions with a little breezy tail wind. i took 6 passes, before i modify it any further i REALLY wanted to see how fast it went on the GUN for REAL. At 2000ft "every-time" my speedo said 111mph or 112mph, my times varied from 104.4mph and my fastest time was 105.8mph. i had NO GAS in it at all and i NEVER screwed up one run, also had preferred lane all 6 times.
now we add BOOST..............
for big heavy powder sleds these things really turn the track 144'!!!!!

yikes????., were you racing.......give me some deets......you have more stuff done than me? and yours was on the speedo????? hmmmmm was the track long enough??, it felt like i could have went more but i think i ran outta gear. i was at my top speed at around 1750ft and it just stayed there on the speedo. 111mph-112mph........105.8 on the gun = spedo's out 5-6mph i think then. im gonna grind some of the clutch off where the weight's shoulders are...... i think their hitting at FULL - OUT and my weights are not rolling right to the tip on the rollers.
thanks

my rev never got over 8860....... i was trying to figure this out all day, maybe i should have took some weights outta the shoulder but like i said i set it up for trail and i wanted to see how fast it went LIKE THAT......i wasn't racing against anyone other than to research my own sleds potential for where i ride.

That was on a 8 mile lake. To the bar all the way across.

You are running (171) studs and the balloon effect of 144" track is killing your top end as your track is riding against tunnel protectors. I would run it on the tightest end of factory spec. to improve MPH.

im running studboys with superlite backers....114' of em. this was a 2000ft track and i agree the suspension should have been slammed and f/e lowered, i might get going a bit better (track adj too)...............like i said i run that sled EVERYDAY i ride like this exactly, i wanted to see true numbers with my daily set-up.
note; i also ran my buddies 2008 ANNY ed. apex with 144' studs (2080kms) COMPLETELY stock at 2000ft, 6 runs etc..... best was 110.8mph..........a WHOLE 5mph more than a long track NYTRO
id like to post pics and video but i cant figure this site out????
