I posted this question in another section, but didn't get any response. So I'll try here.
For those of you who have installed a 1.5" track - Does the taller lug cause a clearance problem inside the tunnel?
I've installed a 1.5" lug in my Nytro. But I've also removed the tunnel protectors - in order to reduce the amount of snow and ice I would end up hauling around in the tunnel. Since I don't run studs, I didn't think this would be a big deal. However, I've noticed that I can reach inside the tunnel and push the track up to the point that it comes in contact with the exhaust. I know I could just tighten the track, but I installed extrovert drivers just so I could run the track looser.
Has anyone else come across this? Am I going to have a problem?
