What do I have to do to make a 1.75 track fit in my 2004 Warrior. I am thinking of 144, so I will have to get an extension, but will I have to change drivers or remove tunnel protectors?

Looks like its new drivers for you.
Drop a tooth in the drivers and a gear change is in order. Yes you can remove the tunnel protectors but look into drop brackets for the rear.
Get the track out of the tunnel a bit will help move the snow

You can go over 2" with stock 9 tooth drivers if you remove the tunnel protectors.

Still have the pro-action suspension? Do yourself a favor....replace the stock drivers w/ extros. Otherwise, with a 144 on there, it'll be ratchet-city!

If the track is ratcheting, then there is something wrong with the suspension. Either there is something broken, worn, or incorrectly adjusted. Using external drive sprockets will mask this problem BUT NOT CORRECT IT. If there is something broken and you hide the symptoms by using different drive sprockets, then you are quite likely to get stranded somewhere with a broken suspension and will likely face a larger repair bill as a result of the suspension taking the track with it when it fails.
With rail extensions, the track will tend to tighten up as the suspension compresses. This makes it much less likely to ratchet.
