Big Bucks Shootout at Oxford Plains Dragway, Oxford Maine on Saturday August 6, 2005.

Guaranteed Purse of $6000 ( This is a minimum guarantee and is continuing to grow!!)

Bracket Race - $3600 Guaranteed Purse $1800 First Place, $1080 Second Place, $360 3rd & 4th Trophies for 1st and 2nd.

Quick 16 - $2400 Guaranteed Purse $1200 First Place, $720 Second Place, $240 3rd & 4th Trophies for 1st and 2nd. $250 Pro Line Gift Certificate for the Best Reaction Time During Eliminations.

Race Entry fee is $45. Gates open on Saturday at Noon. Time Trials are from 3-6pm, Eliminations begin at 6:30pm. Test and Tune is available both Thursday and Friday nights prior to the race. Camping is available at the track at no charge.

OXFORD is home track of JEF CULLEN (ABBOTS POLARIS, winner of mike hills sled shootout) PHIL STANLY/KRISTEM CARTWRIGHT,RANDY CRAFTS (D&D CAT) KEITH WOOD (turbo yamaha) RINES RACING, SCOTT AMES (HOPPER CAT) AND LEAST 25 REGULAR friday night racers. the track has a concrete starting line up to about the 60' timer,they use plenty of traction compound ,and have a rubber drag with car slicks on it. the last quick 8 was won by scot ames at 5.50 et 125mph (track racord 5.37et 129.9) should be fun phil :flag:
