10:1 or 12:1 pistons

Im going to be putting creamic coated forged pistons in my Rx1 and doing some head porting, should I get the 10:1 or go with 12:1? I dont have a turbo now but will be putting one in next summer. I might also do the bigbore kit if that makes any difference.

i would do nothing now becasue detuneing your sled with 10 to 1 pstions with out boost would be sad. then to go with 12 to 1,s to have to take them out later to install a boost system seem,s like a lot of work for only a short term gain.

you probaly could run a turbo at 12 to 1 but at little or no boost. high comp is one way to boost hp with other enhasment,s ie porting,cam.s,etc,etc . with turbo or blower you lower comp to enhance durabilaty with these power enhancers and to use them to there fullest advantage.

just go it to the turbo section and poke around and ask qustion,s there thats were you will find the answers. there are some realy good trubo tuners there . plan a head do it right .
