10 mpg

1st make sure you are really using 15 gallons in 150 miles.. My guess is you are using 10 gallons in 150 miles.. therefore you are getting 15mpg.. which is about right for this sled...

Ive gotton anywhere from 10mpg to 16mpg depending on conditons.

If you are ony getting 10 on the hardpack trails.. Take it to the dealer and have them figure it out.. The pipe shouldnt matter..

They burn lots of fuel when you run them hard, they are only economical when you cruise !

I beat mine pretty loud an dseem to get 13 to 14 mpg. I ride with a buddy who as a new rev 800 powertek and seem to be within 1/4 gal every time we refuel

500 miles on mine with average 14. Best was last ride @ 15.2. With the power it has I'm happy with 15!

Mine was getting over 15 mpg the last time out at 80 miles I took 4.9 gals and my buddy on the new pro x 700 needed 9 gals. the closest took 6.8 and he was on a 600 rev.

The gas warning light does seem to come on early though was always nervous after 80-90 miles cause light was on but never had less than 1/2 of a tank.

Thats just what I was thinking. I have been running mine alot on the lake at 40 to 50 in light snow, just nice easy cruiseing. Mine is pushing 18 mpg this way. If I add in alot of full throttle starts the mileage will drop alot, the same as it will if you took off in your car at full throttle every time. The EFI will pump alot of fuel into these engines at full power, but it is so much fun to nail it that I guess it is worth the extra $$$ for gas.

15 gal is using 5 gal from a can when riding off trail, hence 10gal when full + 5 gal aux. = 15 gal for 150 miles (my last calculated distance), alot of breaking trail but my warriors did that too., its not the pipe, im sure of that, not expecting better than my 03-05's just in that same ball park.

Thanks

I am getting 15 to 16 mpg on my Attack during break in mode. I used to get 8 to 10 on my 700 Polaris twin. To say the least I am happy.

my attack at 15plus mpg.... if ecu had injectors stuck in rich mode, the tail pipes will be wet black vs. dry black....

50 mile loop the other day i got 16.8,wasnt going too hard but wasnt going slow either, thats with only 100 miles on rtx

Finally have enough snow for the local trails so I broke the 160 km barrier on my sled today and filled up at 170 km. I had been showing the last bar for 15 to 20 km and put in 30.3 litres = 6.7 Canadian gallons = 8.0 US gallons. It worked out to 15.9 mpg Canadian or 13.28 mpg US. The first forty or so km were spent driving around a hayfield at 20 to 30 mph giving it WOT every once in while which is not conducive to good mileage. I drove home 20 miles from the gas station after filling and it is still on the top bar so the mileage will definitely be better now that I am riding groomed trails.
Can't wait to put some real miles on now!
