Am I just stupid or what, didn't the RX1 come out as a 2003 model? Wouldn't that make the 2013 sleds the tenth anniversary. I understand the 03' would have come out in the spring of 02', is that the date they are using? Someone please explain.

All model years launch in the spring of the prior calendar year.

'03, '04, 05, '06, '07, '08, '09, '10, '11, '12

Thats 10 model years...

Nope, you are not stupid. 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 makes nine year. The RX-1 was introduced in 2003 so 2004 it was one year.

But if I count as good as Yamaha I'm a year older... :-(

They are introduced in spring, but you could not buy them. But then again, they could count from the year they started to develop the RX-1 and say... 15th years of 4-stroke. For the customer the 10 year of 4-stroke Yammie are spring 2013, also for the dealers.

But the most important stuff about the 10th anniversary is... Nothing new?

Yamaha, you could do better and release a real 10th anniversary Apex.

This is kind of Cats LE sleds... colour, and some bags... yeah nice.

I dont hate you :), Nah sorry if I'm to negative for you so I will say something positive. Its fun to drive snowmobiles and there is lots of snow out there. So instead of reading my bad attitude post go out there and drive. Soon you have forgotten about this.

Some om my post is not just ranting and are questions or information. But I still want a 600 or 750 cc 4-stroke Yamaha with light weight :)

Some times it has to do with whats under. Meaning the trail, some sleds are worse in some conditions and better when it comes to other. Some times it is the kind of skis who dont work in certain conditions. SLP Powder Pro as I use are very good I think but sometimes I think they dart as hell.

I could understand the complaint on a Cat touring or whatever touring because it could get tiresome if you driving great distances. But if there is an easy fix as you say then it should not be a problem even for them.

Okay it doesnt matter to me so I let you have right :) Lol...

I have said it before and I will say it again. There is only one thing that ELIMINATES darting in all condition's and bites in the corner's (SNOWTRACKER'S). OEM's don't put them on because they are expensive and makes the list price look even worse than it already is.

Getting out the finger's and toe's! Here I go. Counting 03 through 12 i come up with 10. Hah, and no collage education. LOL

I took a 2011 Apex with EPS and snowtrackers installed and did not find it dart free at all.

I have no idea how it was set-up or if the toe-in-out was correct but it darted bad imo.

At first I thought it was snow condtions but when I hopped back on my sled with Curve ski's, I quickly realized it was the condtions as my Curve's barely darted at all.
