I have a set of stock rx warrior drop brakets. Problem is shipping to Norway would be killer. $30 for the brakets, plus shipping. Maxdlx

Did you move the rear suspension back when you streched to 144"??
This mod really needs to be done. The approach angle on the RX is to steep.
I streched my 03 RX to a 144 this fall. IT FLOATS in the pow like never before. The trenching is nowhere as bad as it was before the strech.
Oh I also added the drop brackets

When moving the suspension back, Do you mean to drill new holes?

Moving Suspension Back
How do you determine the correct distance to move the skid back? Did you reinforce the tunnel at that point?

When moving the rear skid back yes there are new holes to drill.
The front and middle mount holes where moved back 3" and down about an 1/2". The rear mount got a new drop bracket and was also moved back.
Middle mount: New bracket here
Front mount: The new location is the rear one with the 3 rivits around it. I had to move the stock mounting/locating plates
Rear mount:
Template mounted in tunnel:
This will really reduce the trenching lots.

Is it necessary to move it with just the warrior drop down??

as stated above for powder riding relocating gets rid of the trenching. You should have went to a 136" rail extension and relocated the skid to accept the 144" track
I do have the 136" laying in my garage, and I was thinking about to switch and move the suspension back. I think I use a perspex( dont know if this is the right word) to get the holes right. Is 3" back and 1/2" down good measurements? and a drop down bracket.

3" is about what I moved mine back. Drop down brackets came from MPI.
Had it out over the weekend and I was VERY pleased
