Anybody stretched there 07 or newer RTX to a 144"? If so how does it perform?

I'd say thats a little extreme for "extensions" if thats what your going to do. Best thing would be to get 144" rails.
I stretched mine to 136" this year and I love it!! Never will go back to a 121"
My 2 cents

I'm planning on doing the 144 conversion also with tip up rails like the nytro. If anyone has done this I am also interested in hearing a review

Just did the XTX conversion on my '06 GT.
Best thing I could have done! It handles great and gives much more confidence off trail. I have 2 XTX's as well, and I used to leave the Apex on the trailer until I was too tired to muscle the Nytro around, now I don't know which one is more fun!? The XTX is sprung a little soft for the DB2 chassis, and I'm going to have to change to 2200# springs and revalve the shock, but other than that the ApeXTX is awesome! If you are a trail cruiser, adn weigh less than 200lbs with gear, a shock revalve would be enough. At least add the Hygear spacers in the coils.

I too want to do a 144" but on a GT with tipped up rails.

???????? does any of the extension manufacturers make the 144 extensions with the tip up ,that would be an easy add on and a lot cheaper too

Call and ask Tracks USA. I have a buddy that had some made for his 900 Fusion 144" with the tip up design. He had to have them special make his 2 years ago but I believe now they offer it as an option.

Thats a looongg way to extend without having any suspension mounting points, in my opinion. I think your ride quality in the deep stuff will suffer greatly because an extension hanging out there would be like a huge lever trying to compress the suspension, and adding alot of pressure to to back of the rails..
I wouldn't just extend out that far, I'd do what I did all over again..

Ulmer has one. Not sure about how well it works. I am thinking about doing the same thing. Was going to trade my Apex on a Nitro MTX but I would take too much of a hit in the pocket book. Plus I love the power of the Apex. Now I just need to find a way to make it work better in the soft stuff
