121 TO 136 1" HACK W/1.34 ROETINS HIT EXHAUST .WHY ?

I did the the conversion to 136 and the 1.340 studs keep hitting the clamps that attach the header to the intermediate/muffler pipe.I have the track tensioned at 1'1/4from hifax to track clip w 22 lbs down force .2006 apex gt.No stud contact anywhere else.Could it be the the 1" track does not contact the tunnel protectors as soon as a 1"1/4 track would and do you have a recommendation as to not tear up a set of headers and clamps?

Absolutely. You have the answer. That is along stud for a Hacksaw.

Pop rivet a 1/4 " Aluminum strip on your tunnel protectors & you will be fine
