Helo guys, I have just ordered everything from tracks usa to make my 07 phazer rtx 121" to stretch it to a 136",
the new 136" (freeride) track has 1.5 inch lugs and was curious to know how much difference will I notice in the powder situations and on the groomed trail? And if it was worth going to the 136" thanks!

From what I've been told and read on this site is that the "Freeride" track alone is worth the price of admission. I hope it was worth
stretching it to 136" as I just finished mine last night. FYI I had Schmidt Bros re-valve the skid shocks and provide a lighter spring
for the front shock per Chris's recommendation.

Wow looks great, can you tell me how you made your back bumper and fabricated the back end?? It looks great, would I notice the shocks being stock right now on the 136"?

Don't know how the stock shocks will react with the 136 but I always felt that the rear skid on the Phazer(FX)
was stiff and I'm not a light weight. As long as it was in pieces already I figured the re valve wouldn't hurt.

I cut the stock rear bumper and welded in a filler tube. Not original as I've seen it done before but it's effective.
I work for a mechanical contractor so I had the sheet metal shop fab up a filler piece for the tunnel extension.
All said and done its a 6" tunnel stretch. I understand that extending the tunnel is not necesarry but it think it looks better.

I'm definitely extending the tunnel looks way better! Did you get the wheel kit also as it looks like that, also can I get more pictures of your whole sled extension and more rear tunnel shots on where you extended it?

I'll take some pictures tonight and upload them when I get to work in the morning. The extra wheel is just the
Accessory wheel you can buy at any dealer including all the hardware. I changed them all but it made more difficult
to reinstall the shock and link bolts as the stock inner skid wheels have holes in them that allow the bolts to pass
through. I had to put it all together then install the front wheel axel as a unit. Oh well not doing it every year!

Thank you, can't wait to see more pictures! D.H

Looks amazing! Do you need tunnel protectors? And did you replace the top skidframe wheels to the rubber ones? Apparently the stock yamaha ones ice up and rub the track making them get flat edges..

Thanks! I'm not studding the track so no tunnel protectors for me(They just become ice collectors anyway). Reusing the upper wheels as the bearings and wheels are in good shape. The lower plastic skid wheels were flat spotted and kind of distorted which is why I went with the accessory wheels.

This my wife's. I did the stretch. I had a filler turned down to slide into the cut bumper. You can't even tell it's not factory. Wife loves the 136. But you know women, longer is always better:rolleyes:

haha looks great! How did you make the bumper look so flush extending it? It looks like it's a professional job!

Thanks. Turned down a same OD piece of cold roll so I could hammer it in and mig weld. I must say I do think it turned out nice. It's probably 4lbs. heavier but I wouldn't hesitate to hang it from the bumper it's so strong.

so did you cut the bumper on both sides? Then hammer smaller piping into the holes in both sides? Then weld it up? Grand the welds down? And paint?
