You guys think the gain in traction out weights the top end lost? (1000 foot drags) My S.C. Nytro has a TON down low and hook up is a big problem. I see most all you guys have long tracks....

Thank you Skydog ;)!

I have a 121" Apex and would have put a turbo in if it were a 136". Im interested to see what others will say but I think the longer track is a must.

I was talking to some poeple about building a drag sled (RX1) and they actually said go with a 144' much better 60' times. I would say 136" for sure (iif not bigger).

i am still running without studs with my mpi super on my 136 and i think the hook up is still comparable to my old 121 apex that i still ride once in a while. im still debating if i will even stud it this summer just because i can make it loose in the corners now with the throttle and it handles like my 121 did, before i put the s/c on it was very pushey in the corners. so back to your question i would say 136 all the way, thats why i got a new sled when i did this project, i could have put it on the 121 but i heard much better results with the 136

ted - You trust the ripsaw at 200+ hp? I thought they were softer rubber then say a predator (i think the new cobra is the same durometer as the old pred)

Skydog - Why dont you call camoplast engineers and ask them what they reccomend just for fun.

Myself I hate the rip saw. Only because its for trails only, dont think about trying to hit the deep stuff. they market it correctly so just know its mediocore at best in the deep ditches if you ride in IL.
