I know this has been covered before but I couldn't find the topic. Does the plug exist on my 08' Rtx's wiring harness so I can just buy the outlet and plug it in?

All you need to do is tap into your battery...I would instlal an inline fuse as well. Nice thing about battery is teh device will stay on even when machine is off but be sure you unplug before you leave sled for any lenhth of tiem or you may drain the battery. this usually is not an issue as it is normally for a GPS or helmet in which you usually take those with you. I have a tap for my GPS and another for the heated shield. I used the battery for the GPS and tapped into the ignition wires for the heated shield. I can send pictures of ignition wires if needed.
