My sled doesn't have the 12V outlet installed. Tonight I pulled off the panel in front of the steering column which encompasses the key switch and found a white 2 prong female quick disconnect terminal that is plugged. Is this the terminal where the 12V connector would plug into? It is right next to the disconnect for the key switch. Just curious!

That is what I thought. Was the 12V always an option or did it come standard on some models? I was sorta surprised that my Vector did not have it as a standard feature. I might want to add it sometime in the future just so I can use my GPS.

Yep, that's the plug, I just did both of my Phazers.
Some models had the wiring and others didn't so making a blanket statement that you can plug and play just wouldn't be right.
Sure is nice when you can though.

I think the GT's come with the plug and the standard Vectors do not.

It is always powered, no on/off switch. I ordered mine today.

HEY BUDWEISER YOUR RIGHT ON THE GT MODELS WITH THE 12V ACC.PLUG BUT THE O7 SPECS THAT SHOWED THE VECTOR RTX FOR 08 STATES THAT ITS STANDARD ON THEM.HAVENT HAD A ANSWER FROM YAMAHA OR THE DEALER EITHER. THE TWO WIRES BY THE KEY SWITCH ARE THE RIGHT ONES.
