Has anyone done rail extensions on the 13 nytro shorties? I wanna do a 136 rail extension but the current skid is 120 so im a little confused wheter i will need a 136 or 137 since its the 2.86 pitch track thanks in advance

Have you thought about doing the star relocate to 128"? Doesnt mess up the geometry as it moves the skid instead of just extending the rails

I have a 2013 nytro and they are 120” 2.86 pitch,
You will need a 137” track 2.86 pitch if you decide to go with 136” rail extensions,
I had the star relocation kit on mine last winter which calls for a 128” track but in 2013 Yamaha changed the tracks to 120” so I had to get a 129” 2.86” and it work, just did like the way the rails were pushed back.
Which ever way you go just get a 2.86 pitch track and you will be good to go

I eventually wanna turbo or supercharge the sled so wanna have more track under it for traction

Ok so the 137 will fit with the 136 rail extensions i wasnt sure if i would run out of adjustment

It should be good,
With mine once the track settled in and I did the final track tension adjustment I had about 1/4” - 3/8” of treads showing at the end of the adjuster, towards the axle so I still had adjustment but it was good all of last season..

Fabio wht size track did u go with i wanna do a 1-1/2 or 1-3/4 but unsure wht track i want or wht can fit with stock drivers also wht rail extendions do u run ?? How do u like them ??

I only trail ride in Northern Ontario so I run a talon 32s 1.25” track,
I think Yamaha even changed the drive sprocket from a 8 to a 9 tooth, 8 being 2.52 pitch and 9 being 2.86 pitch but I could be wrong.
I would ask around, I don’t think you can get a 1-3/4” track in there with the 2.86 drivers but again I could be wrong.
I never had rail extensions, 2 summers ago I put the star relocation kit on which moves the whole suspension back 3”, did 5000 k like that with no problems but just didn’t like how the rails were pushed back so this summer I put it back to stock and pick up a talon 32s track.
This weekend I actually took out the transfer blocks and did 500k and I’m liking it way better so far

Yea i have the stock 8 tooth anti ratchet extrovert drivers so ur ssying they might be 2.52 pitch is there any way to measure or verify wht the pitch is of a track ??thank u for the info

Ok I did know if we had 8 or 9 tooth drivers, no our sleds are 2.86” pitch, all nytro from 2013 to 2014 are 2.86”.

If you measure the nobbies that are in the inside of the track the ones that the drivers grab you will see a measurement of 2.86” from centre to centre,

A lot of guys think the 2013 and up nytro are still 2.52” pitch but they are not.

Perfect thank u for the help

No problem at all..

You see a lot of 2013 and up nytros for sale and they say 121” but they are not lol

Does anyone know if the 07 yamaha attak 136 rails from a mono shock skid are the same rails as 13 nytro will everything bolt up or are they different ??? Thanks
