Bought a phazer on the cheap in the spring as a project. Im putting a 136 1.5" under it with hartman tip ups. wondering how people are clutching their 136s.

Im going to go with a Schmidt Bros Stage II but wasnt sure what the difference was between the Stage II and Stage II mtn. This sled is likely going to be my secondary sled for playing around so top speed isnt the biggest deal but i dont want it to fall on its face at 60mph either.

If anyone has any input itd be appreaciated

i'm not sure how much clutching is going to help as much as you think. it may engage sooner & have a better power brand in mid range, but i would think a top gear swap would benefit the most.

i have a gt w/ a 20t that i was riding all last season & now switched to a 17t gear for this season. i will let you know how it works in a couple weeks when the snow hits.
i'm sure others have re-geared lower & will respond before i can.

Yeah, I have an FX so from what Ive read it comes with 17t stock. Just looking for a little extra power and from what I've read everyone says a clutch kit is night and day difference.

Thanks for the help

14.5 rollers is a must!
