i herd there was an extension kit for a Nytro. im living different territory now with about 10 times more snow and I only.have the shorty nytro. Could anybidy tell me the about price for the extension?

Also I was thinkin about the rear slide suspension. if i had to get the kit with the extra 15" that would mean more leverage and stress on the rear shock. if that going to.be a problem or does the kit come with different rear suspension setup?
Anybidy have the kit and experience problems with it?

I may need the kit and I may not im not sure im.just going to have to see what the winter brings.

Have two shorties that we extended to 144" with Tracks USA kit inc 144 x 1.75 back country track .... Big difference ... Didn't change any gearing or suspension and seems to work well.... Kit was reasonablybpriced and easy install.

Looking at the +4.5" front end kit for this season to see if I can address some of the handling issues.

well if the 144" extensionworks i cant see why the 136" wouldnt. 144 would be to long for my liking. i think 136" would be to much to but the extra track would definatly help out with the getting stuck all the time lol. im just hoping it dont come to that.all i have on my shorty now is the 1.5 intense. dunno if its gunna cut it but ill see i guess lol

OFT Racing sells the best one on the market..$349 for billet rails that are tipped up like the XTX...I would suggest you send a PM to revster or check out his thread in the 4stroke Garage forum...lots of good info.

;)! X2 ...OFT kit is awesome. Nytro works very well as a 136"

What would be better 136" or 144" extension.
Both with 1.5" lug at the most.
What do you have to change in the suspension for the added leverage?

If you're doing much off trail at all, I'd go 144. With the tip up and a 1.5" it will perform great on the trail but the Nytro needs the extra track off trail.

OFT is the way to go!

Ok that's what I'm leaning towards. I have a 1 3/4" 121" now and it gets stuck easily in deep powder.

What do you have to do with the suspension when going to a 144? I haven't found any info on this yet.

Phone Tom Hartman he has a killer kit that makes your skid a 136 then you move it back in your tunnel to a 144 it works really good and you can do it in a day at home
But OFT has a kit too and their stuff is top shelf!!

buy the oft 136 in rail extensions and relocate the skid back and make a 144. Star suspensions makes a kit for the relocate...

sounds costly. is it even worth the money cause ill have to buy the kit plus a track. i do have a new 1.5 intense i installed last year. no damage and about 800 kms of use. i guess top dollar for that would be 400canadian so i dunno. i would like to make this sled longer with a 1.75 profile track. perferrable the camoplast back country which would run atleast $750. and im not 100% itl fit with the stock drivers. i did grind the stud guards down but not off completly. the 1.75" should fit if not i guess ill have to grinf em down more thats all.
