If I was to add a rail extention from 136 to 144 on an 06 attack would I have to extend the tunnel as well. It would only be 4" and looks like there would be lots of room for it.

Yes! I stretched my 06 4 yrs ago and used a Hartman extension. Muffinworks is a site vendor, and there extensions are stout and less money. I'll say this. I ran into a time crunch for the first trip that year and didn't get the Expert X skid installed. With the aftermarket extension and no other changes, I was amazed how well my Attak went riding off trail. The stock 136 extension acts like a scraper blade in deep snow. Might be something to think about lol.

The reason I ask is because I found a used tracks usa rail extention for $60 and i have a 144 x 1.25 take off track from a nytro. What would the longer track do for trail riding, would it want to push too much in the corners. It's my wifes sled and she realy isn't much for the off trail like I am so I want to make sure it won't affect the on trail performance.

x2 for muffinworks, i bought their expert x extension and a tunnel extension. Great quality products, just the only downside to it was that i had to tweak some of the parts to fit my stuff, i didn't contact them on that and i would so buy from them again.

Stomper, are you looking for more deep snow capability, or better bump bridging?
If you're looking for better traction without studding or extending, steer away from a standard Ripsaw. Try a new track like the Ripsaw II.
Honestly, going from 136 - 144 will gain you some, but not much. I'd hate for you to go through the effort of extending your rails and end up being disappointed when a different 136" track would more than likely do the same job. If you do extend, you might get by with the stock tunnel extension, but it will be close.
Just my $.02
