do you have to change the clutching to run a 136'' track on a phazer!

dont think its necessary but i did on my FX....i also changed gearing...went to 17 tooth top and a ulmer clutch kit with my 136x1.75 track....now i just need some snow to test it out

not done yet but here is work in progress.....gotta get the grab bar powdercoated this week and slap it back on...then im good to go...there are a lot of guys that have stretched their phazers just search for their posts..lots of better looking sleds out there than mine...

I went with an Ulmer kit as well and changed the wrap on the secondary spring to A-2 instead of A-1. I didn't change the gearing. I have not tried it yet either.

pics of 136 track, Couldn't figure out how to shrink them.

would any of you recommend mtx skiis? or slydogs..I need something for riding on and off trail

As a side note remember that if you have a GT it has a 20 tooth which I'm betting is too tall for the 136. No experience with a 136 but I drop from a 20 tooth to an 18 tooth and it made a substantial difference on the 121 track.

I'm doing a 136" as we speak on my 07 fx!
Can I rub it stock clutching /gearing?

No gearing or clutching required
