Sorry for the dumb question in advance. I have been searching for help to install the rollers for the Schmidt bros comfort clutch kit. Looking at my stock clutch, the bolts holding the rollers in are not tight. Is that because of the pin sleeve the bolt sits in? I couldn't find an install video of primary rollers and have never done this myself before. Thanks for the help!

pretty straight forward if I recall...remove nut, pull pin, remove roller and washers (one on each side of roller), install new roller with washers on either side of it, insert pin, install nut and you are done....It's a little trickier than I've stated but not much...

The looseness you notice is about 50% of the noisy clutch. It is due to the non-threaded portion of the roller pin. Schmidt bros sells a quiet kit (thin non-metallic washers less than $10 if I recall) for installation to shim the bolt making it tight.

BTW...you are going to love the clutch engagement with this kit....I didn't think I would notice it (I felt quite accomplished with my throttle blip skills) when I put it one but what a difference with the lower engagement.

Thanks for the input. I just needed the reassurance that the bolts shouldn't be tight.
