Looking to put on a 14" Hacksaw in my Apex GT. Any installation issues with this track. Also, any performance issues with it. I'm running hard packed groomed trails and I will be running 144 1.175 Woody's and drag racing will be 192. Aslo, Can you stud the outside belt on this track.
Thanks...
Thanks...

ran a fully clipped 14 inch hacksaw all last year put on about 3000 kms. 144 megabytes up the middle. the track held up really well. bent a few studs but with the way conditions in ontario were last year i,m not surprised. the track also ran quieter and no overheating issues in low snow conditions. i don,t run a rear heat exchanger. i,m not sure about running studs on the outside.

I have about 1200 miles on a 15" Hacksaw and love it! Great top end. Very little sacrafice out of the hole. Once you are 50' out you just real them in. I think that you can stud the outside but do not know from experience. If you can I would highly suggest it. About 500 miles were high speed lake runs and it looks perfect! Unless you are trying to squeeze a little more top end out I would stick with a 15".

What stud length are you running with the hacksaw? If anyone else posts, please tell me how many studs you are running and what size. Also, post how much you think you gained over the stock track in top end numbers, as well as, losses in other areas. Thanks....

I am running 144 1.18 Hornets. It hooks great on hard ice. Not so great on soft ice. I think 96 hornets + 48 skorpions would be perfect.

I would like to throw some Scorpions in my track as well. I wonder who sells them?

Wow....I have a buddy that just put a 1" Hacksaw 14" on his rev. He just put 60 klicks on it last weekend, and he is taking it off. He is studded 144 down the center. He said it spins endlessly and is superloose in the corners.

Interesting, I don't understand why the Hacksaw is called a 1" track? When i measured the lugs it's a hair above 3/4". No way it will holeshot like a Ripsaw.
