Has anyone out there installed an M-10W2 into their Apex (RTX)?

I love the CK- suspension but I want to go to a 144" or 151" with a decreased approach angle. The only aftermarket kit I see available is from Hartman, and he only goes up to 136" and does not address the approach angle issue.

I am planning on buying a new 07 RTX later today or tomorrow but I want to make sure I will be able to eventually stretch it out.

If anyone has installed an M-10, how do you think it compared to the stock rear skid?

BTW, if anyone is looking for a new sled I have a local dealer who is giving out deals I doubt anyone will beat. I got him to sell two Attaks with the mono RA yesterday for $7699 ea, and I'm getting my RTX for $7599. Bad snow year and he doesn't want to sit on a bunch of sleds for the summer. If anyone is interested, email/pm me, and I'll get you their contact information or look into what you may be interested in .

Thanks for any help.

It will be a compromise. In my opinion I wouldn't do it. You will loose transfer and have a "G" bump problem and be squirmy on top of loose snow on a hard pack trail. I know the M-10 is well liked by many. I have had one in a XC800 and enjoyed the smooth ride and sucking up stutter bumps, but cost top end and acceleration from a dead start. The "G" bumps were indescribably horrible. The Mono in my Apex ER is much superior. As I said, just my opinion, and from 1 sled.

Do some research on the EZRYDE! Hearing only good things so far, huge weight savings too, as well as decreasing the approach angle. It is more costly.....but if it works..... it would be well worth it IMO.
