144 x 16 inch track. Will it work?

What are the mods needed to fit a 16" track on the nytro? I can get one locally that is 144 x 16 x 2" . 2.52 pitch. So everything else looks fine but I will need new driver's I"m told for the 2". Will the 16" fit? Not sure if I want to trim an entire track.
