My 2011 Apex XTX was not a mono, but a 144 suspension. Star makes a great kit to uncouple which really improved ride.

Ahhhhh......that makes sense. I wonder if anybody has tried simply removing the transfer mechanism and rod it? I wonder what, if any, damage could be done but no having the transfer assy. connected? Going to have to think about this one a bit.

You can remove it if you like. You will get a ton more ski lift and the handling in the front will suffer but you can do it !

Yea I made another post in the general forum and learned that. Was just thinking outside the box.
