Hey guys hope you can help me out! I have a '15 viper mtx with a mcx 190 kit installed. I'm going to install a turbosmart manual boost controller because the automatic altitude compensator isn't getting me the results I want when I get to elevation. My question is once I hook up the manual boost tee what do I do with the automatic compensator ( has the small black and red wires plugged into it) that came with the kit? Thanks any help would be great!

Just trace the wires back to the plugs and remove it from your sled. I think it plugs into the gems controller.

Can I ask what's wrong with the altitude compensation boost controller?
I'm looking at buying one for my viper. If you put the manual controller on could I possibly purchase the one off of your sled?

What is not working on your elevation compensation? I was having problems with mine as well but I think I have it fixed. My baro sensor needed to be connected to the charge tube as well my turbo was leaking badly. Under no load it would boost correctly, however under load the exhaust leaked out the manifold and header flange. Got this fixed and results were good last week in revelstoke.

I also have a turbosmart controller but have yet to put it on.

Yup just disconnect the red and black wire connector. Leave disconnected.
