- 2015 SR VIPER MT-X W/MPI TURBO. 153”
2015 viper MT-X, riding along and hear a pop, sled engine cuts out and slows to a stop. I thought a blew a belt at first but realized no, and the sled was in flames about my oil tank, reverse actuator area. Melted a hole in my plastic and melted all my wires and plug connections on that side.
i cut the wires and taped them to limp the sled back home. Drove back home 4 miles.
My oil cap melted, my oil return coupling melted, all my wires, and the reverse actuator.
I had lost my communication to the head unit the day prior and would come in and out. This leads me to believe I had a wire short, arc and set ablaze. Not no power to head unit it Prologger.
I need help fixing the right wires and connections.
Thanks!
