151 or 159 Turbo Vector?

What do you guys think? My Vector is in the shop, the turbo will be 3 weeks, I have the extroverts. I have to pull off the track and cut & clip, or have a chance at a great deal on a 159 X 2.125 and sell my new 151 X 2. So, dollars & cents out of it, what do you think. I ride everwhere, rarely on the trails, mostly hills & mountains. I am gonna change the ugly tunnel extension anyway. comments and experiences appreciated. thanks. :4STroke:
 
Definately get the 159. You have plenty of power to spin it and you will be glad to have the extra leverage of the longer track when running the turbo. The power of the turbo really lifts the front end when climbing.
 
Is the wheelie thing worse with th 159 because of the extra traction? also is it harder to manouever(sp?) with the longer track in the trees?? BTW how are these turbos in the trees etc? Thanks guys :rocks:
 
No, the wheelie thing is worse if you stay with a 151. Don't have a problem with mine through the trees.
 
I would have to agree with the 159. Sounds like you are the type of rider that would use it and if it is not a $ issue, then it is a no brainer.
 
Do you need some rail extension I have a set I was going to use on my 03 RX-1 MTN 151-159 but I sold the sled they are brand new from holz you can have them for $35.00 shipped to your door!!

I don't know if I want to use rail extensions. On my son's MMax we moved the skid back 5" to go 141-151. I'll have to pull the skid, track, etc. then see what will work. I will wait till I get the track, ordering it today.
 
I'm going with a 162x15x2.5" track on my turboVector. Plenty of power and I love the extra floatation in the trees. Don't need to keep your momentum up in tight situations.
 
162x16x1.31 this is what you need! Trust me you will laugh every day you ride it in the powder and last year my sled was able to hit 92mph on the dream meter in 1 1/2' powder with a 159x15x2" on a logging road so power is not an issue if you still want to trail ride at a ridiculous speed on a long track sled. :4STroke: with turbo's
 
I know the dilemma,I'm pondering to go to 159,as far as the manuverabilty,don't forget the Vector comes with tipped up rails.It's also a good excuse to rid of that ugly stock tunnel extension.I know from riding last years 159 turbo,you need all of that length just keep it on the snow.Last year,159 turbo,with reverse---176 klicks,with two people on board.
 
Guy's please post weight when you receiving your 151Vector Mountain, I’m not scared but I wouldn’t mind knowing the actual weight. I heard 571 pounds, oil and coolant.
 
I have my Mtn Vector but until I can get it to the local highway weigh scale, I don't have any method of weighing it. I don't care what it weighs, I know it handles way lighter than my 03 RX1 Mtn because I got to ride one in the spring, it's still a grunt to lift the front end but easier than my RX was. :4STroke:
