Hey Guys,

Can I fit a 08 Nytro 153 track onto my 05RX-Mtn 151 skid without modifing anything?
I currently have extroverts and the track adjustors are backed right off.

is the 08 track open all windows and clipped?

TIA

With 3.0 pitch 7 tooth drivers and 8 inch rear wheels you should have enough to take up the slack of the track. That is what I am running right now.

I didnt realize that the nytro was a 3pitch track.
Guess I'll pass on the deal. Already have Whal drivers and dont need to spend more.

I'm missing 20-25 track clips and 1 lug off the stock 151 track. So for a $100 for the 153 I thought it would be a good deal. Cost me that much in track clips and install on the old track. But if I need drivers aswell the deal isnt so good.

Thanks for the info.

IMO you'd be better off getting the 153 running it backwards and get new drivers. Sell the old drivers for whatever you can get for them, all in it would cost you not too much. The 153 Mav is a way better track than the 151 and most new tracks are 3 pitch which would set you up for the futrure should you decide to go longer(which I would).

7 tooth 3 inchers are virtually identical diameter to 8 tooth 2.52. You might be able to find a set in the swap meet. Basically the 2.52 track is obsolete non of the 4 manufacturers are really using them much anymore so over time your track choices will become more and more limited. I think the shaft size is 1 1/16th.
