My heat for my seat went out on my 16 Viper xtx-dx last year sometime. I'm not super mechanically inclined, but can do some basic things when needed. Is it likely a fuse issue thats keeping it from working? If so, how can i fix this? Where is the fuse box? and will the fuse be labeled? What type of fuse do I need? I live in rural alaska and have to ship my rig to anchorage, $1500 one way to get things fixed, so i am trying to do this on my own. Thanks!

Pull seat off also to make sure wire did not rub thru.

Mine was not a fuse they had to take seat cover off and new wires did not seem like it would be too difficult

What happened to mine was the wires broke very near the heater where it runs thru the seat foam. The wires are shiethed with a plastic which is way too hard and brittle in the cold (thanks so much arctic cat I’ll just use my snowmobile in the heat of July). So the sheith breaks where it flexes then the wires bend sharply there fatigue the wires and the wires break. Had to remove seat cover to find and repair. Easy enough job just need a staple gun to reinstall seat cover. I just left one side of seat cover fastened to make alignment easy on reinstall

Mine went out and the element broke inside the seat. I got another element and took half the seat appart like Diaper flogger and inserted it and re stapled it down.
