162 or 174x16x2.5 Challenger Extreme on Nytro non boosted? Is anyone running one of these? How do you like it?

My Nytro I just bought has Kmod rear suspension with Fox Floats in that as well as the front suspension, and an MBRP exhaust so about 45lbs off. It currently has the 155x15x2.4 Polaris Series IV. The sled I rode last year was the RX1 with the mods in my signature plus a few more I had about 85 lbs off of it by the time I sold it. It had the 162x16x2.3 Skidoo track on it, and that sled pulled and climbed awesome!!! The Nytro should handle better and ride better but I think I may be disappointed with my Nytros climbing ability in comparison to my old RX1 with this 15x155x2.4 Polaris track!!

I am thinking seriously about a new track for next year!!

THANKS

2.5 CE 162 is a very good track. Im bumping up to the 3" this year and hoping for positive results. I wouldn't try to run the 3" tho without the nitrous. As far as a nytro compared to a rx1 i couldnt tell yah. ive never been around a rx1. Nytros climb allright nonboosted id compare them to a 700.

RX1

The RX1 is 1000 135-140 hp, The Nytro is a 1050 I ve been told 130-135 hp one would think that the Nytro would have more torque being only a 3 cylinder with bigger jugs versus a 4 cylinder with smaller jugs and overall smaller displacement. I am hoping due to the lighter weight and bigger engine I can tune the Nytro naturally aspirated to run with the 800s and 900s. My RX1 will but it took a lot of tuning to get it there and when the RX1 came out they put it in the 600-700 class because of its weight and power. I was getting 45-50 with the RX1 but it took a lot of tuning to get that with my 162x16x2.3.

Honestly for climbing and playing in the pow, a track, skid and tunnel help a TON. the stock maverick is plain junk, skid is just so heavy and the stock running boards are huge so your always hanging up on them. Without the nitrous my sled is just a tad weaker then a slightly modded 08 m8. 2010XP kills me. With the nitrous i havent came across a non turbod/Nitrous/BB sled that even comes close.

i run a 162" non boosted it climbs just great its the trees that i have problems with i generally loose a ski in the powder and get stuck .

climbing is good though .
