1st annual oneida lake King of the Trail shootout

The event will be held on Saturday FEB 23rd, it will be one class only with a 20 dollar entry fee, the trail ride will go from coopers to the golfcourse at borios back to fisher bay and to the ice back to coopers, the guy who rides the sled on the trail rides it in the race. The race will be held on 1000ft snow track with 4 sleds run at one time and the top 2 advance to the next round, all pairings will be random. There are no stud or track or suspension restrictions if you can run it on the trail then race it. All sleds will have colored zipties holding the hoods closed, the only way a hood could be open is if a sled breaks a belt then wait for a official to watch the belt being changed the belt needs to be broke and not worn out, any changes can be made to the sleds without opening the cowl (suspension, boondocker, warming outside mount nitrous bottle, etc). I am going to add a 2nd class which will be 1000cc and under, carbide studs only, no power adders and follows everything else the King of the Trail rules are. If racers can fit into both class they are welcome to but know I am not going to hold up a race waiting for anybody. It will 25 dollars to enter with 20 dollars going into the purse of the Jr. King of the Trail Shootout and the other 5 dollars going into the Big King of the Trail race. The payout will be 75% of entry fees will go to the winner and 25% will go to the Runner up, and the race will pay for itself and give the little guys somewhere to race.

We have got leather bomber coats to the winner and runner up with custom embrioding them "1st Annual Oneida Lake King of the Trail Winner/Runner up" just another perk as well as the money

With the sponsors listed the Payput should be atleast 1000 and a gallon of oil and a winner jacket to win, 600 plus a gallon of oil and a jacket to RU, and 250 for 3rd, and 200 for 4th the payout will be higher when all the entry fees are added in

After the event is over Cooper's Landing will be having a HUGE party in appreciation for the OLLC Racers where we will be presenting awards/trophies and having a "Best Top End" & "Best Rear Suspension" contest for the snow bunnies (CASH PRIZE!) brought to you by Coors Light. There will be loads of give aways & prizes including a snowboard and huge cooler perfect for turning it into a cooldown cart! =-D There will be a bunch of door prizes given out throughtout the night. This will be yet another DO NOT MISS event hosted by the nation's hottest & most famous snowmobile racing bar. Cooper's has always supported our sport and is committed to giving back to the racers that give to it every week. Drink specials all night long!
