Just wanted to let everyone know Yammi won again.
Nothing major, just a local event that had 1/4 mi. drags today, that my '06 Attak dominated in.
This was the first time I've really been able to line up against any real competition and I'll admit I was a little nervous at first.
I ended up first in the 800cc and up class and overall. I took out some pretty nice machines: M1000, F8, 800 Gades, and a couple modded 800s. There was one Doo 800 bored, heads, clutch, and stripped to weigh nothing that got me off the line by a length until half way and I smoked him by 2 sleds. The best part was I got to tow him back across the start line after his belt blew on the return trip and cut his fuel line.
The biggest victory was over an Apex Mtn. clutched, lightened by 40+ pounds with an MPI stage 1 S/C. I was concerned a 1/4 mi. wasn't enough to get him but it turns out he only had enough gears and track for an 1/8th.
Contrary to belief at the track, my '06 Attak is bone stock, other than 2 3/4" prefiltered holes in the airbox and an Ultimax 3 belt.
Also, nobody was studded and it was on a field with decent hardpack snow.
